[Blindtlk] Disturbing article I found.

Yeah, that article is very disturbing. What bothers me the most is that they 
put so much emphasis on his blindness and if a sighted person had  done 
this, more emphasis would have been placed on the crime and not a physical 
attribute of them that aledgedly caused the crime. They worded it in such a 
way that now this will add to the misconception, that we just sit in our 
homes on party lines every day. I remember back in college, when I met a 
radio personality, he said, "I love blind people. They make the best 
listeners, because they can't venture outside their homes and do things and 
live productive lives, so you know that since they have to stay inside their 
homes, they'll always be loyal listeners." Someone should contact the writer 
of this article and chew him a good one. I understand that the details of 
the case may be very accurate and true, but the way it's worded really gives 
a misconception that this is the way all blind people are.
