On the opposite vein:
Once I got a fiberglass telescopic NFB cane and it stuck in a crack and
broke the same day I got it.

Subject: [Blindtlk] longest living cane

Hi list. Just to have a little fun, I'd like to see who has the longest
living cane in use (folding or straight). It doesn't matter if it has
been repaired. I currently use a NFB four section fibor glass folding
cane which will be fifteen years old in July. This is much longer than
any other cane of any kind that I've had in my life. I still use it daily
in all types of weather.

Enjoy!
