I, myself, don't know much about PowerPoint, but I do know that jaws
supports it, and has helpful hints and commands to use it.

Hope this helps,

Jenn

Subject: [Blindtlk] Needing Software Info.

Good Morning,

My apologies to those of you who may be getting this twice, but I'm
desperate for information so I'm putting out all the feelers I can.

I am taking a computer applications course this term, and one of the
focuses of the course is on Powerpoint.

I'm not quite sure how to handle these sections of the course. Though I
have never used and have no personal experience with PowerPoint, my
understanding is that it is a very visual program, and involves the
manipulation of graphics and pictures.

Does anyone have any experience with this program or know whether it is
even possible for a totally blind individual using a screen reader to
successfully manage?

Any information I can get would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
