[Blindtlk] Oregon votes to close school for the blind

They wanted the property, period. If the Oregon School for the Blind
had not been so starved of students, funding, and even building
maintenance, they could not have pulled what they have. Since there
was a clear plan to improve the school, increase enrollment, and
reduce the cost per student, this year was their best shot at
stealing the property.

As it was, this was done with almost universal opposition from the
public. Stakeholders have met and begun forming legal strategies for
moving forward.
