One of the things I use for pilling kitties is called a Pill gun. It's got a 
lever on the back and the front end has a little rubber jaw that holds the 
pill.  I It's best to f force the cat's head back push with the rubber jaw 
to force open the mouth and then release the lever in back. The pill will 
bounce off the back of the throat and she'll automatically do the swollowing 
reflex. when you release the lever close the mouth for a few seconds so she 
doesn't spit the pill out. Some kitties won't eat a broken up pill in soft 
food and with antibiodics, it's important that she gets all the medicine or 
the infection will return and may become antibiodic resistent.
