Dear list, I would like to introduce myself. I'm RJ, and I'd like to inform you, I'm applying for services, through the Florida division of blind services, in order to attend LCB. However, when I made this known to the D.A, she emailed me and told me, that if they would refur me to the light house for the blind of the palm beachs, however, they meaning the light house, are not an orientation and adjustment center, and the staff meets the person in their home. I'm really wondering if I should continue with the application process for services? My family and I have always been on bad terms with the Florida division of blind services for one reason or another. At least Craig Kiser tryed to turn things around, but I personally feel the new director is dismantling everything he put in place!
