they have all kinds of products for   visually impaired folks, also a place 
called beyondsight.com

Hi,

I just joined this list. I am looking for a advice from other vision 
disabled people to learn from. My first need is getting settled in my 
apartment and finding a talking caller id phone and cooking stuff. I'm going 
to have to start off slow in buying this as I'm on disability , where are 
the lowest cositng products for me?
