Subject: [Blindtlk] Perkins Brailler question

Hi all,
I just wanted to see if any of you have experienced this problem
before. I have a Next Generation Perkins Brailler and it is only about
a month old. I am using it in my chemistry and biology courses and we
have exams next week, so I hope there is a quick fix, but I can't find
one. When i am Brailling, the keys will randomly get stuck and the
embossing head will not advance. I am releasing all of the keys each
time I type a character, but the embossing head stays on the same cell
until I press the space bar. It has gotten to where I cannot Braille
at my normal speed because of this problem. I cannot even get through
one line of Braille without having to stop and hit the space bar to
move to the right place at least five times. Does anyone have any
suggestions?
Thanks,
Aleeha
