You're welcome, Ray. As I say, the doctrine has little actual legal scope
anymore but all-too-often lives on in the public mind.

I'd bet that if you put "Contributory Negligence" into the NFB site's search
box, you'd get a slew of Monitor articles including one of mine and perhaps
a reference or two or three in "Walking Alone ...".
