Dear Dana;
	That guy wasn't worth your time!  Some sighted people are WAY too
visual!  But some blind people have the social graces of garden slugs!
Being a stupid cad does not discriminate!  
	I've been married to the same person for 34 years.  He's blind also.
For some amazing reason, we don't miss eyes; there's so much more to a
person than eyes!  Remember, I'm the person who believes you can train a
baboon to drive, but you wouldn't want to marry one, i.e., being able to see
is such a trivial thing when choosing with whom to be involved.  
	So, don't worry about the baboons and garden slugs!  Someone will
come along!

You're right -- that's just about the most heartless  thing one could say,
and not least of which because of its shallowness.  Seems to me looking into
one's heart is more important than one's eyes, but perhaps I'm just
sentimental?

It is amazing how it is difficult to find an equal in this world for sure.
I have been once married to a sighted person who honestly ended things with
me as he quoted "I needed to find someone who could look in to my eyes and I
found her"
That to me was the most heartless thing anyone has ever said to me.
