Diane,
I believe JAWS professional is aimed more at those who need to work on a
Network and need the network client software to be accessible. Hope this
helps.

Alan

Subject: [Blindtlk] Jaws Question

Hi Again,

I'm just full of questions today. (smile) I am wondering whether someone who
understands the ins and outs of technology much better than I, can explain
the differences between Jaws Professional and Jaws Standard.

The reason for my question is that I am wanting to purchase a personal copy
of Jaws for my home. I thought I held the license on my Jaws software, but
apparently I don't. My employer holds the license. This change was
apparently made the last time my technology was upgraded. At any rate, I
notice that there is about a $200 difference in the price. While I want to
get a product which will meet my needs and give me maximum capacity, I don't
want to spend money that I don't need to spend.

Is the Jaws professional merely beneficial for those who are needing to
connect to major computer networks, or are their other important features
which would benefit a home computer user?

Thanks,
