I would probably get a hook cane. I think my cane is a graphite cane.

There are several different kinds of folding cane out there with a
large assortment of cane tips for each. WCIB, Advantage, and
Ambutech are just three I know about off the top of my head. You
need to figure out what you've got before we can help.
Ambutech graphite canes are distinguished by three features, a rubber
golf grip with a diagonal faux leather wrap, plastic rings on the
socket end of each joint, and the actual joints are aluminum.
Ambutech has two kinds of tips, a slip-on tip and a hook tip. You
can know which you need based on what you've currently got. But if
you haven't got an Ambutech cane, that's not going to help you.
Independent Living Aids probably will have whatever you need no
matter who makes your cane, but you've got to know what to order.
