Diane,

You won't need to purchase a new license. However, Mobile Speak will need
to be installed on the new phone. Simply moving a memory card won't do the
trick.  Any fees will depend on your current license.  For example;
depending on the date of your purchase; you may be eligible for a free
upgrade. If you have the older device based license; there may be a fee to
transfer it to the new phone. You may also elect to change your license to
the newer number/SIM card based license which ties your license to your
phone number. This allows you to install and use Mobile Speak on any device
which you place your SIM card.
AT Guys out of Kalamazoo MI is a great distributer of Mobile Speak and other
assistive tech. At present they are listing MS upgrades for $148.
Try giving them a call. Have your license number available when you call.
If you don't know it ; they can walk you through finding it on your phone.

Subject: [Blindtlk] Mobile Speak Question

Hi Guys,

My apologies if this is a repeat for some of you. I posted this last week,
but it was sandwiched into an email with some other comments, so it may have
been missed.

Anyway, I am wanting to find out whether there is a way to transfer my
mobile speak from my old KNFB reader to the new KNFB reader. Is there an
easy way to do this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
