It is a bit old-school, but I believe they still offer the service. If you 
go to your local post office with the cash you can perch's a money order 
which you send to the independence market in place of a check. They will 
then ship the items upon receipt of the money order.

At least in my state you can but I don't know about Minnesota, but after the 
age of 16 you can get a bank account without parental signature.
