[Blindtlk] To Drive or not to Drive: that is the question

I don't know if "silly" is the fitting adjective, but I do hear you talking out of both sides of your mouth, so to speak. On one hand I hear you saying that paratransit is the ultimate cop out and federation offense, and on the other hand I hear you saying that federationists shouldn't be seeking out greater methods of independence, and should be content to stay where we are. I hear you almost scoffing at those in our leadership positions, e.g. "the legal beagles."

I don't believe there is anyone who has proclaimed that we are ready to take to the freeways yet, or would deny that there aren't a great many battles ahead. I don't think there is anyone questioning the fact that the costs will be a factor. But we have taken a tremendous step on another path to independence, and we would be remiss not to follow it.

Incidentally the technology associated with vehicles fails for the sighted as well. Toyota could attest to that.

I hope you are not serious about these silly statements concerning not
driving.
Being able to drive is the ultimate situation.
