Dear Fellow Federationists,
    I am so very proud to announce to you that my wife, Merry Christmas 
Schoch, is receiving her Master of Social Work degree from the University of 
South Florida! Tonight she will participate in her hooding ceremony in which 
she was elected by her cohort to be the Student Speaker. Tomorrow she will 
have her commencement ceremony at the Tampa Convention Center. I am so very 
proud of Merry and know she will be a tremendous asset to the field of 
Social Work and to those she will serve.
    Merry serves as the Vice President of the Florida Association of Guide 
Dog Users (FLAGDU), a strong and proud division of the National Association 
of Guide Dog Users. Her accomplishment culminates a long and, at times, 
challenging journey! I am blessed to be a part of her life!
