[Blindtlk] Airline fun

It's true that Southwest and United have been targets of our legal efforts
recently, but the fact is, there is hardly an airline out there that isn't a
source of deep frustration on some front for the blind.
I just tried to sign my wife up for US Air's frequent flyer program today,
for example, and you get all the way through their on-line sign-up process
only to encounter a catpcha that offers no accessibility/audio option. So I
had to call them and sign her up over the phone after wasting my time trying
to do it on the web.
Virgin America is one of my favorite airlines to fly, but their on-line
search engine/reservation system is basically totally inaccessible -- you
can do searches, but you can't actually book anything.
And on and on it goes.
Until we get the rights of accessibility that we have for brick and mortar
businesses applied to Web sites, we'll continually be fighting this battle.
