[Blindtlk] Unsubscribing

Hi Dianne,

If you only want to disable delivery temporarily, you don't need
to unsubscribe and resubscribe when you come back. Here's what
you do to disable delivery temporarily. Go to www.nfbnet.org,
select the Join or Drop NFBNET mailing lists. From that page,
select Blind Talk. I think they forgot the a in Talk when they
set up the page, so JAWS will read it as "Blindtlk." From the
Blindtlk info page, do an insert f5 to select a form field. Find
the form field that says something like "enter subscriber email
address," or something to that effect, and hit Enter. In the
form field type in your email that you are subscribed to the list
under. Once done typing that in, tab to the unsubscribe or edit
options button. Hit Enter on that, and you'll then be taken to a
page where you need to put your subscription password for the
list into a form field. Remember when you first subscribed and
it asked you to type in a password? That's where that comes in.
If you've since forgotten your password, you can click the email
password button and it will email you your password. Once you've
typed your password in, tab to the Log In button and hit Enter.
A page will then come up with all your settings, in the form of a
bunch of radio buttons which you can either check or uncheck to
determine what your list settings are. There will be something
about temporarily disabling list delivery. I'm not exactly sure
what it says word for word, but the radio button says something
like "disable delivery." Check it, then do insert f5 (if you're
done changing your settings,) and find the save changes button.
You should then be good to go. Hope this helps! See you when you
return!

Chris

Subject: [Blindtlk] Unsubscribing

Hi All,

I am going to be out of the office for about a week and a half,
and am wanting to unsubscribe for that time period. Otherwise,
I'm afraid that every times someone posts to the list you're
going to get an out of office auto reply. Can someone refresh my
memory as to how to unsubscribe?

Thanks,[cid:image002.gif at 01CC7DC1.E2997650]
