Hi Nickie,

Try the NFB Independence Market, since that's where you bought 
the cane from.  I don't know if they have a roller cane tip, but 
they might.  You can find Independence Market by either going to 
nfb.org, selecting Products and Technology, than Independence 
Market, or by calling the national center at 410-659-9314 and 
hitting option 4 from the main menu.  Hope this helps! Good luck!

Good morning!
    At this years National convention I purchased a new cane.  
It's an 8
section folding NFB cane.  I'm looking for a roller tip for it.  
I bought
one from Ambutech and it didn't fit.  The shaft of the tip was 
just a hair
too wide to fit in the cane.  Has anyone else found a roller tip 
to fit in
this type cane and if so, could you please pass on the info to 
me?

 ourselves.  If we're writing for business or professional

 though standards for writing have been drastically lowered,

 We need to step back and laugh at ourselves, and also help one 
another.

 We had a long day here in NY.  The NFB of NY, and some members 
of the NJ
 Affiliate went on a cruse ship tour of the Norwegian Gem today.

 We had an awesome time, the staff was great, we all were 
educated about a
 lot of things, they learned from us as well, and they 
implemented braille
 menus on the ship and will look to add to the rest of the fleet.

 HArd work pays off, I have been working hand in hand with the 
cruise line,
 and they are working hard with us.  We had a total of 18 people, 
5 were
 sighted, one guide dog mine, the were a few that cancelled the 
last minute
 that had guide dogs, but there was suppose to be 4 in total.

 I will write more about it for the braille monitor.  But it was 
a busy day
 for us the blind and for us working with a company who is trying 
to make
 things better.

um does you teacher read braille.

Also watch your spelling since is spelled s I n c e, no sence.
Being blind and know how to read and write braille we need to
know how to spell correctly.

This is just some friendly advice, in school I grew up sighted,
and had very strong family with spelling, grammar is another
issue but spelling important.

As a grown up, I remind my daughter, so forgive the correction.

   Hello everyone,

   I have a geometry exam next week and my teacher told us that 
we
   can use one sheet of notebook paper front and back for 
anything
   that we don't feel comfortable with or are a little unsure of.
   So my question is, how many pages is that in Braille? I've
heard
   that for every page and Braille is only is only half a page in
   print, but sence geometrry have so much pictures, wouldn't 
that
   take up more space than words?

   I hope this makes sence.  And I have to do it because my
teacher
   is grading it as a quiz grade.
