Hi Dave,

I happen to know this guy, so let me clarify. David Dunphy, the
owner of this station, is in fact a member of the Federation, and
is the Webmaster for NABS. He's also involved in the Performing
Arts Division. He has posted announcements about his station
before on the NABS and PerformTalk lists. He used to have an
Internet radio station called Radio 360, which he had to take off
the air last year because of circumstances in his personal life.
In June of this year, he came back with a new, bigger, and better
station entitled Audio Access Radio. Recently, his station
underwent surgery, if you will, and has a new look and name. It
is now Audio Access FM, and all that is is a revamped Audio
Access Radio. On the old station, David did a lot of coverage on
the national convention in Orlando. So, with all that said, I
hope you see now that he is lagitimate, and not a spammer. By
the way, what is the different between the Members and the Master
list?

I would not put it on the "master list" as it goes to many
people,
some of whom are not members and most of whom would regard it
sass spam.

I would also be unlikely to put it on the members list, I don't
even
know if the guy is a member, and he has had 3 or 4 internet
stations
in the past year or so. I feel no compulsion to publicize blind
guys
playing radio on the internet.

Hi Joseph,

Yeah. Well, Dave blocked its posting on the NABS list, so I
guess he
doesn't want it on the students list, which is why he didn't put
it on
the master list.

Chris, I think probably everybody on both of those lists already
got
the message. I know I did, and I don't know where David Dunphy
would
have gotten my email address otherwise. Dunno why it wasn't
sent
through the master list. Just one announcement of a new service
for
the blind wouldn't be inappropriate for the master list, and by
using
it you don't tend ti wind up getting six forwarded copies in the
span
 of a few minutes. *grin*
