Well, as to whether Voice Over is better than windows or  JAWS, to me it is; 
but, you'll be the judge of that yourself when you take an objective look at 
it.  Personally, I do think it's better; but, I warn you now.  It ain't 
windows.  Don't go in to this expecting Apple or Voice Over to act like nor 
give you the same kind of feedback as windows.  Why?  The entire concept is 
different.  I'd refer you to the December 2009 Braille Monitor for a decent 
overview.
