Well, that depends on the indivual learning it.  Some people try the Mac and, after perhaps a day of learning either not much or very little, get frustrated with it and declare that it's no good.  What is needed is that you take at minimum two to three weeks; and, needless to say, get help if you don't understand stuff.  Honestly, it's not that hard to pick up on.
