[Blindtlk] How many words in a standard Braille page?

Hi,
	I believe the number of characters a braille page will hold 
depends on what words you use.  Some words have more than 
one contraction in them, and some have none at all.

This is like asking, "how long is a piece of string".  If you 
wrote single
letter contractions then you would get many more contractions on 
a page than
if you wrote 2 letter, or short form words etc.  Also, it depends 
on what
margins you use and how many lines you use.  Perhaps what you are 
wanting to
know is:
Using all possible lines and having the narrowest possible 
margins, how many
braille characters will one standard braille page hold? 
Unfortunately, now I
have posed the question for you, I do not have the answer.  I'm 
sure someone
will know though.
