[Blindtlk] I device questions

The only major difference between an iPhone and an iPad, other than
the obvious phone capability difference, is screen size. If you have
low vision, a larger screen may be a selling point for you, and in
that case, the larger the screen the bigger the image obviously, so a
person with low vision would likely want the biggest screen available.
However, if you don't have usuable vision, the screen size is not
going to make a big difference.
I have an iPhone 4S. Until recently (I broke it), I had a case with a
belt clip. I would clip the phone to a hard surface, on which I would
place my bluetooth keyboard (an example is clipping the phone to my
raised line drawing board, on which my keyboard fits almost
perfectly), and then use the iPhone and bluetooth keyboard like a mini
laptop. You don't have to have an iPad to use your device like a
laptop. In the way I have described, I have taken notes in college
courses, written e-mails, surfed the internet, and much more. Memory
capacity also has not been a problem for me, since I purchased the
higher capacity (I believe it's 32gb) phone. I have yet to fill even a
quarter of my phone's capacity.
If you have more questions about the iPhone, feel free to e-mail me off list.
My two cents,
Jewel
