Hello, Zeeshan,
My name is Jasmine, and I am a college student. I am going
for my Bachelor's degree and teaching credential. I would
definitely recommend that you go to Grad School, but I'm not
sure if I would take the online approach. Everyone has
their own experiences with online classes, but the one I had
was very hard. Not that the work was difficult, but the
program that was used was not always stable. I definitely
like the on-campus part of school, though. You get to know
your peers and teachers better that way, and you can ask a
teacher a question and get immediate answers, unlike sending
emails. It does depend on your preference, transportation,
and daily schedule.
Hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Jasmine

Subject: [Blindtlk] Grad School

Hi everyone,

So lately I have been thinking about goign to Grad School,
actually I had
applied 3 years ago but was not accepted due to my low gmat
scores as I did
not have proper accommodations at the testing site. Anyways, as
all of you
are probably aware, going ot school for a blind person is much
much
different nad challenging than for a sighted individual. So I
have been
giving to school online some thought as well but I am not too
sure about it
because there are schools online for a Masters program but I
don't know how
well they work out for us blind people as you still have to worry
about
being able ot read hte textbooks and all the materials, which can
take
quiet some time to read. So my thing is, what would you guys
think be a
better option , going to school online or going to a physical
location.
Going to a physical location has its own challenges but it brings
a social
aspect to it that the online version cannot match. But a
physical location
has its own challenges which you all must know of already. So if
anyone of
you out there would like to share their experiences about Grad
School, I
would love to hear them and any words of advice would be helpful.

Sincerely,

--

Zeeshan Khan
