[Blindtlk] Merry Christmas!

Thank you, Peter and Mary. That kind of thing could happen in Florida, too,
and it was strange walking around on Christmas Day in a short sleeve shirt
with no jacket. Yes, Darwin Australia is right smack in the tropical
cyclone belt of the Indian Ocean, and they sure got hammered that year.
Anyway, be safe, and God bless.

Good afternoon Mark and everyone,
For us recent Thanksgivings and Christmases have been a time for firsts.
Last year we ate Thanksgiving Dinner outdoors. Our apartment complex had its
annual holiday gala which includes a Christmas Dinner. The night was
slightly chilly but we still ate under the stars.
According to the weather folks we're supposed to have a cold front move
through on Christmas day preceded by rain and thunder storms. It will make
for a very merry and memorable Christmas. Stuff like this can only happen to
the Donahues.
Here's hoping a freak hurricane doesn't blow through as one leveled the
town of Darwin Australia in 1974. It was Cyclone Tracy that struck Darwin.
Being in the southern hemisphere Australia would be more likely to witness a
cyclone/hurricane than we would in South Texas. Both of us want to wish
everyone a safe and merry Christmas.

It's expensive even up here, so it is a real treat when we have it, and
apparently my brother bought quite a large amount, so I think we will all
enjoy it.
