[Blindtlk] fw: writing in to ask you to vote against this

The email in question is written unpprofessionally and does not even
come close to explaining the bill. More detail would be nice, but
until then I don't believe it either. This sounds an awful lot like
the hoax that was going around a few months back about Facebook making
all its users pay. Did anything come of it? Nope. If this was a real
concern, and the person who sent this email (who I happen to know as
well, so we're not talking about a fake ID here, at least) truly
wanted to convince us, he would have linked to a site about the bill,
even an editorial if nothing official could be found, but we're
looking at nothing but a petition here. A simple Google search would
probably turn up some results, but until I hear something from a more
reputable source, I'm not going to lose any sleep over this, that's
for sure.
