chris,

people can have all the optimism they want but you also have to have a dose of reality.

See you out there on the highway someday Chris.

I'll program my car to honk at all people with NFB bumper stickers.

Yep, I plan to drive one of those cars one day.

Maybe I should petition google to let me be a test driver for their cars?
  LOL.

  Bryan,

She didn't say that she couldn't imagine herself driving a car * now *, in
which case I would agree with her. But she said that she couldn't imagine
herself * ever * driving a car. And with the progress the NFB is making on
the Blind Driver Challenge, who knows; we might be driving someday! It isn't
gonna happen now, or in a year, or in five years (probably,) but it might
happen someday! Come on; have a little optomism!

  hi,

the only way she will be surprised is if she can afford to spend
about $100,000 and leap 20 years into the future.

Hi mike your answers are correct. I don't see myself ever
driving a car or flying an airplane or physically reading a
printed page. Absolute isn't posibled because most of us will
never see but I want access in some form to as much as posible.
