However, your message below has an ironic twist for me: the first microwave
I bought back in 1982, though admittedly fairly up-scale -- it had a
touch-screen -- cost $400.

Shows you what high demand and decreasing manufacturing costs and shipping
labor off-shore does.

There are others, at least one, but they are expensive, in the $300 
to $350 range I believe.  Try the usual talking stuff vendors, ILA, 
talk to me, etc.
