[Blindtlk] scam or not

Hi David,

Where would I find their 990? That might tell us all we need to know about
what they do. I know the NFB publishes ours on our Web site, but I wouldn't
think this organization would, given that they don't even have anything
about what they do on their Web site. I thought they would have a mission
statement of some kind... guess it's not published.

Chris

I have heard a number of the Heritage for the blind PSA's on radio
commercials. Looking at their web site, I can't find anything specific they
do. I too would be interested in any information about them. I suppose I
could pull their 990 and see if I were that curious.

I don't specifically know. I have heard their commercials on Radio Disney,
when my kids listen. I have also not heard of any blind persons I know or
know of benefiting from them, so I would be leery.
