Michelle:

I think you have to go into Control Panel and under windows Update, select
"show hidden updates" or something similar. Then you can uninstall IE9.
However, when I was running IE9, I did not have the difficulties you seem to
be having. I'm back on IE8 because I had to have my machine reloaded a while
back and just never got around to reinstalling 9 again.

Subject: [Blindtlk] (blindtlk) Reverting To IE 8

Hello everyone,
I'm using JAW'S 11 with IE 9. It's been a serious hassle and I didn't
even realize anyone else was having problems until I googled it.

Question:
How do I revert back to IE 8?
I've already tried the 'easy' ways. My computer tech said just delete
IE 9 using the uninstall a program feature and it would revert back to
8. Problem, I searched my control pannel and IE 9 didn't even show up
as having been installed in the first place.
Then I tried just changing my default program setting back to 8. That
didn't work either since the only thing that shows up is "internet
explorer" it isn't followed by the # 8 or the #9.

Finally, I know I have 9 because I'm getting a bunch of blank spaces
on web pages like others complained about in the forums I read and
when pressing the H key for headings or the B key which will usually
take a person to different buttons on the page it doesn't do that or
it only shows some of the headings and buttons that are available.
And filling out forms is next to impossible.

Any thoughts on this?
Thank you in advance!
Michelle
