When the person you hire as a driver, you must carry the car insurance, you are insuring the car and anything that happens to that car another car or to liability like a person or a place, and you must make sure that they are a licensed driver and to make sure that it is still good with the DMV by doing a credit check or call the DMV.
You must be in the car with them while they are driving, should the person be stopped if you are not in the car, to let the cop or person asking that you have hired them to work for you.
If they are taking the car to be cleaned or serviced, then they can give the information to the person asking about it.
In no way shape or form, does that car belong to your driver.
