[Blindtlk] accessible metronome?

There may not be one that is accessible, however, it is possible to label
one and it will work very well. My husband was able to label one for my 16
year old who is also blind and she uses it all the time for her flute
practices. He used small cut strips of Velcro at intervals around the device
and then she counts the clicks in between each one.

Subject: [Blindtlk] accessible metronome?

Hi,

A good friend of mine has recently taken up playing the bass, and I'm
looking for an accessible metronome for him for Christmas. He says all the
ones he's found so far aren't accessible, since he can't set them
independently. He's currently using a software version, but he'd rather not
have to boot up his computer every time he practices. Also, he doesn't use a
smart phone or iPhone, so even if there were accessible apps it wouldn't
help him. I'm just looking for ideas. thanks.

Sherry
