[Blindtlk] self-driving car--legislation in California

Good evening everyone,
Whenever the regulations for the use of these vehicles are drafted I
hope we'll be a part of the process to insure they'll be written in a way
that will permit blind drivers to use this vehicle. The technology to make
that possible now exists thanks to the work of the NFB. We need to insure
that Google and others that develop such vehicles incorporate this
technology in to them and that licensing legislation is changed to permit
the blind to obtain licenses to operate these vehicles. This is a very
exciting development and one some of us have dreamed of for years.
