[Blindtlk] /Monopoly

Hi, Mark,
Please don't feel badly. We all started someplace - at the beginning. The
first question I remember asking a tech person once I got a computer is, "My
computer isn't working, where do I start?"
A URL is the address of a web site. It begins with a form of the letters
http, sometimes https, then colon, two forward slashes, then most times WWW
dot whatever the rest of the address is. Not all addresses have the www
after the slashes, but the majority do. When you are on a web page and you
want to know what its address is with JAWS you press alt D, and your machine
will read it to you. Then you can copy it to your clipboard if you want to
send it to someone, paste it in Facebook, send it to someone in an e-mail,
whatever.
I hope this didn't further confuse you, but don't worry if it did. Keep on
asking any questions.
Judy
