I wanted a decked-out Lincoln Towncar of my very own for my wedding --
didn't happen. <smirk>

Oh, carry the cane, but get you a shiny one if you want; it's your big day,
and you should have everything exactly the way you want, including the nice
shiny cane decked out with lace.

I agree completely. I even consider it ridiculous to worry about the cane's
condition. It's a tool, not a fashion accessory. Would you purchase a new
car to match your wedding dress? I suspect not. The cane iis part of who you
are. Revel in the difference!

Hi, Arielle,

Think of this situation logically, everyone who knows you, knows you're
blind and knows you use a cane. So then, what's the reasoning being covering
it, changing its color which is, I think diluting the powerful symbol we
project. Forgive me if I am having a hair trigger or jumping to some albeit
etherial conclusion, but need you cover the thing?
