[Blindtlk] Use of the Term Visually Impaired

Good afternoon, Mari,

As you pointed out, the term BLIND oughta be used to described those 
having no vision to even be impaired. Another term I would use to 
describe my own bienucleated ass is total. And, if I were to 
pigeonhole you farther, I would call on the terms   describing low 
vision Based on your description, I would think of you as a partial, 
maybe a high partial depending on how high is your degree of ocular 
perception. Be that as it may watering the term for visual handicap 
down, could be akin to calling all Black people Afrikan-American. Do 
you notice people could be shying away from the term Black about 
which people waged serious struggles to make powerful, and in the 
eventuality  was come to be thought of as a source of pride. I myself 
am a white bitch but my man is Black. I find Black to be  beautiful, 
a welcome deviation from a pallid, white  sensibility. I believe the 
same needs to happen for the term BlinD. The term low vision oughta 
be reserved for people having ocular organs than might not work like 
the those of the main stream.
