[Blindtlk] Flat Screen TV Size question

I had a 32" LCD TV which I normally viewed from about 10 feet away with a monocular that had a field wide enough to accommodate most of the picture. I now have a 50" plasma which I view from the same distance. I use my monocular less because I can see more detail with the bigger screen. However, when I do use my monocular, the amount of detail is of course better, but I see only a portion of the screen which means I have to move my head constantly or I'll miss something.
I know your situation is different, but my point is you might very well find a bigger screen improves some aspects while others may become worse in your viewing experience. It may well be a trade off. For the record, even though its not perfect, I like my 50" much more than my 32".
