[Blindtlk] Working in the yard

The best thing I can suggest is to become well-oriented to your yard if you
aren't already, then plan the best way you will cover your area. I've found
it to be much like vacuuming i.e. mow in overlapping areas in a grid pattern
to make sure you're covering the area.

Another trick my sighted dad used that can also work, depending on the shape
and size of your yard, is to mow all around the perimeter and work your way
inward. Or, combine both methods. Start with the perimeter to get at those
hard-to-reach places, then do the overlapping grid method in the open areas.
Also pay attention to getting close to obstacles in the middle of the yard,
just the way you would want to give attention to vacuuming around furniture
legs and obstacles in your home.

Hope this helps. BTW, I'm not the best yard person although I love it, and
am always looking for any tricks that work for others.

Judy
