[Blindtlk] Comparing pros and cons of screen readers?

Well, you are certainly right to try and be prepared -- but try not
to fall into the trap of spending all your time preparing -- and not
looking. It has been said that looking for work is a full time job--
and I think this is true. You should be as good with your screen
reader, and computer as possible, as those skills are
transferrable. However, it is difficult to know in advance what
specific skills or programs you will need. Many federal agencies use
JAWS, so it won't ever be a bad choice. Likewise most use Word,
Outlook, Excel etc., and as I said skills transfer.
