[Blindtlk] technology. Is it essential to success?

My husband and I each have a computer, but I still maintain there is nothing 
to replace a good typewriter, and we will never get rid of our Hermes manual 
typewriter, any more than a sighted person would throw away use of a pen or 
pencil.  Same with slate and stylus; will never throw those out.

I use a typewriter at work to write on sticky notes, add messages on 
receipts, type envelopes, fillin a counselor stamp, write on thank-you 
stationery, type up deposit slips, etc.
