Hi my name Is Dave. I havent tried any of the dating websites but
have had some long distance relationships and had problems. One person I
was with payed for my plane ticket out there and then a few weeks later
broke off the relationship. I think she ended up talking to someone else.
it really hurt a lot. Honestly I think that the likelihood of me finding
someone is pretty much zero. with my bipolar and mental illness and stuff I
probably could find someone but it would have to be a person who really
understands stuff. terri broke the relationship off because she said that
there were some things that she didn't think she could handle. I won't say
specifically on the list what they were but. If any of you want to talk to
me off the list let me know. I've got skype and all of that so. Just let
me know. Thanks.

I met my husband on match.com in 2010. We have been happily married for over
a year! Back in 2010, I did pretty much what Sherry did. I did not overtly
state my blindness, but stated it in a back-and-forth message very shortly
after I had met him. Also, I apparently had some reference to a guy dog in
my profile. I don't even remember what it was talking about, but my husband
picked up on it. My blindness didn't phase him in the least. As it turns
out, though his mom is still very cited, she has glaucoma and will soon lose
her vision as well. I guess Innoway, don't sell people short. Maybe there is
a girl out there just like my husband. Someone who knows someone who can't
see who doesn't really care.

As far as accessibility, match.com was amazing! I don't really remember
anything being on accessible. I had also tried eHarmony. I didn't like it. I
felt that it was just a bunch of pointless questions that have to time I
didn't even know the answer.

I think people pick up on you. If you are not ashamed, and if you are pretty
confident… Or at least express it… People will follow. Good luck! Best thing
I ever did! Any advice needed, or if you need anything let me know.
Jessica
