[Blindtlk] Kayaking

Hi all,
I was just invited to go on a kayaking tour with a group of about 12
people. How have you handled kayaking? I think there are kayaks for
either 1 or 2 people, so I could hopefully pair up with someone who
can help with navigation. Has anyone who is totally blind had success
steering a single kayak accurately and keeping up with a group? I'm
worried about bumping into people or losing the group. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
