I presume you mean the blind person is learning English as a second
language.

Though I haven't heard of her in some time, there was a lady in the Seattle
area, Sylvie Cashdan, who ran a program called something like "Kaizen" which
taught English as a second language to blind persons. Look her up on Google.

Subject: [Blindtlk] ESL classes, please help.

Greetings to all,

I would like to know if anyone on the list has, at one time, taken ESL
classes? I would like to hear about your experience, how you were
accommodated, etc. We have a client starting the ESL classes, and the
client is the first blind person recently who is trying it out. I would
like to share any experiences with our rehab teacher, if I may.

Thanks in advance.

Judy
