Hi Judy and all! How are you all? I just wanted to tell you that I took ESL classess when I was in Middle school and high school! since I'mfrom Peru, and I came to the United States 10 years ago and I didn['t know any English at all! Just to let you know, when I was in middle school, I was actually low vision and for accommodations I use my magnifying glass, and my textbooks were big print, and I also use other type of devices as well! And during my high school year, I lost my sight, and I was still in ESL for only two more years, and for accommodations I got my materials in Braille, and they also provide me with AN assistant that put my materials in Braille, and took notes for me if necessary in my classes! By the way, Judy, i just wanted to ask you, is the client that you are talking about, is it doing High school ESL or college ESL? Just wondering! Hope this suggestions help! And if you want, feel free to contact me off list with any questions that you might have regarding this! since I really don't want to clutter the list! My contact information is located below in my email signature! Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks and God bless! :)

I would like to hear about your experience, how you were accommodated, etc. We have a client starting the ESL classes, and the client is the first blind person recently who is trying it out. I would like to share any experiences with our rehab teacher, if I may.
