Hello Lucy,
The NFB has a crafters division. They have a list you can join and a
website. They also hold online classes for blind people wanting to learn to
knit, taught by an accomplished blind knitter who loves to teach.
Go to:
www.nfbnet.org
and click on the link which says, "click here to join or drop NFB mailing
lists".
Use your screen-readers find option, or scroll down to the NFB Crafters
list. Click on the link and follow the prompts to join. You'll be able to
find out all the information on classes, ask questions etc.
Happy knitting.
Warmly,
Heather

Subject: [Blindtlk] Accessible knitting resources?

Hi all,

Does anyone know of online resources for people learning to knit
that teach techniques via text-based description rather than
pictures or video demonstrations?

Thanks in advance for any input!

Lucy
