I have no such difficulty, and am not aware of any.  JAWS makes 
recommendations for settings with some applications.  To see if there 
are any with outlook, hit insert-F2 twice quickly.  Down arrow 
through applications to outlook.  It may be under a microsoft office 
book, if so, use right arrow on ms book, and down arrow to Outlook, 
hit enter, then F6 and read text.  It may include links to different 
sections, alt-F4 to close when done.
