Or, that I am suffering for something my parents or ancestors did. Really?

I've had a few people pray for me and healing from my blindness. I am a
Christian and believe that God has plans for me and meant for me to be
blind, so I will do what He asks me to do without my sight. I tell people
this and they keep going back to the story of the blind man in the Bible. I
tell them that that was one man and that God's plan may not be for me to
see, and it may be. We will never know until it happens. What really gets me
is the people who say that the reason I'm blind is because I'm not faithful
enough or that I did something wrong. Really?
