Howdy folks...

    Well did my subject line catch your attention?  LOLL

    Well as the subject line states, I am looking for an adventurous lady 
with some extra time, who would like to help me out on a fun little project. 
I am 
setting up a lap top to run backing tracks for my live performances.  I will 
be playing my guitar over these tracks.  Well, like a lot of people, I think 
that the windows greeting sound when you have fired up a computer is kind of 
dull and boring, so I started thinking of a way to have a little fun.  So 
would a lady like to help me out?  I would like 2 short little messages in 
either .wav or mp3, that I can put on my performance lap top for when I 
start, or shut down the lap top.  It doesn't have to be anything fancy or 
professionally produced.  I just want something kind of fun, and since the 
fact that our computers speaking to us is novel for the sighted 
world, I thought that it would be kind of cool if my computer spoke to me 
personally.  Of course no one would hear it unless they were on stage 
helping me either set up or break down, but it would be kind of fun, and 
would certainly be better than the lame Windows start up and shut 
down sounds.

    The 2 messages that I came up with are something like the following, but 
feel free to use your own creativity.

1. "I'm turned on, and ready to make some music!"

2. "Good by for now!"
