I'm not sure if this is generally the case or not but I am using one of
those carbon fiber telescoping canes and am constantly having trouble with
it. I know one is supposed to tighten the joints but I still find that it
loosens a lot.
I like the canes because they're convenitne and easy to put away when not in
use. I just wish I didn't have to always be tightening it so that it
doesn't loosen all the time.

Hi, Jim,
I also used to use those, and you can still get the tips. But I believe the
carbon fiber telescopic is better quality.

Howdy,
I know the subject of canes has been brought up in different ways in the
past, but here's a question.
Does anyone remember those great solid but light Rainshine canes? Are they
still made? I've looked for them and have gotten either little results or a
false lead.
I'd love to get my hands on one, assuming they're still making those canes
and assuming they are of the right size.
Thanks.
Jim
